私は、ヤマザキの食バン「匠醇」が好きです。サンドイッチにしたい柔らかさ、何も味付けせずともそのままで美味しいです。焼きそばを挟めば「焼きそばパン」、コロッケを挟めば「コロッケパン」になります。トマト鍋や、カレーのルーにつけるなどしてよく食べます。ホームベーカリーを買って食バンを自作したこともありますが、ヤマザキには、味でも費用の安さでも及びませんでした。
当たり前ですが、「日本の職人さんはさすがだ」とあらためて感じます。
TV東京で放送されている「YOUは何しに日本へ?」でも、サンドイッチを求めて日本に来た訪日客がいました。街のパン屋さんも、コンビニのサンドイッチも、とても美味しいです。米メディアの某記者が、「ローソンのたまごサンドイッチは今まで食べた中で最高」と述べていたそうです。
和食は最高。高級店でなくても、家庭料理も最高です。

Japanese bread is delicious
I like to eat Yamazaki bread “Shojun(Craftsman Pure)”. It has the softness I want for a sandwich. It’ｓ delicious even without seasoning. I often make “yakisoba bread” by sandwiching yakisoba between pieces of bread. I often make “croquette bread” by sandwiching croquette between pieces of bread. Also, I dip my bread in curry roux or tomato casserole and eat it. I once bought a home bakery and made my own bread, but my bread was not as good as Yamazaki’s, either in taste or cost.
It is a matter of course, but I feel again that “Japanese craftsmanship is indeed impressive”. TV Tokyo broadcast “What are YOU doing in Japan?” also featured a visitor who came to Japan in search of a sandwich. Both the bakery in town and the sandwiches at the convenience store are very good. It seems that a certain reporter in the U.S. media stated, “Lawson’s egg sandwich is one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had”.
Japanese food is amazing, whether it’s cooked by a fancy restaurant or home.
